This will take you to the <strong>Templates<\/strong> library containing more than 50 built-in request templates.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Choose a template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At first, you\u2019ll only see our templates. Once you have created your own, you\u2019ll find them at the top of the library under <strong>My Templates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the sake of this article, we will use one of our general templates, <strong>Client Intake Form<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_vVwgDQoU6Q-1024x403.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1540\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you click on it, you\u2019ll see a preview of what this template will look like when you send it to the client. Click <strong>Use this template<\/strong> in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard to continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Request name &amp; instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you&#8217;re on the <strong>Essentials<\/strong> step. Here you can change the default name of the request because it will be easier for you to organize and filter requests later on. Your client will also see request instructions when they access the request.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_Qvu0XhU5n0.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1541\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructions are a good spot for you to clarify your request and explain how to use Content Snare. Once done, click <strong>Save and Continue<\/strong> in the upper-right corner to move on to the <strong>Builder<\/strong> step.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Use the Builder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In this step you could customize the request by adding or removing fields. But for this tutorial, we&#8217;ll just move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Note<\/strong>: The changes you make don\u2019t affect the original template. They only modify the current request that you are about to send to your client.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once done, click Save and Continue in the upper-right corner to move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5: Preview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you\u2019re on the <strong>Preview<\/strong> step. This step gives you a preview of what your client would see, so you have the opportunity to review the request just before you send it off. When you double-check the request, click <strong>Finalize<\/strong> in the upper-right corner of the dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6: Send<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The main thing to do here is to select the client you\u2019re going to send the request to.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As this is your first request, you\u2019ll need to create a new client. For this tutorial, send the request to yourself. You can&#8217;t use the same email that you used for Content Snare, so use a secondary or personal address, or try these tips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_HwzUfHkPtA.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1542\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, you can change or leave the suggested due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last thing to do is to choose a <strong>reminder schedule<\/strong>. We recommend using our default schedule for your first request, but you can also choose <strong>No automatic reminders <\/strong>as it only sends the initial email.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Note<\/strong>: There\u2019s also the option <strong>Don\u2019t send any reminders to my client<\/strong>. This means there\u2019ll be no email at all \u2014 not even the initial one.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once done, go ahead and publish your first request by clicking <strong>Publish &amp; Send<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_0yg8SCxLDr.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1543\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Your client will receive an email with a link to access the request, so they can start answering your questions.
