Requests consist of three main components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pages<\/strong>: These typically focus on specific sets of information (such as contact info, project overview, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sections<\/strong>: They break up the information into smaller logical units within a page (such as financial details, inventory, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fields<\/strong>: Each field represents an individual question or upload area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the left hand navigation to quickly move between pages and sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_IKDUH5lMUx-1024x653.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1629\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t want to use sections, just include one section on each page. Name it the same as the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to put all our questions on one page, that\u2019s OK too. Just bear in mind that pages are shown in the left-hand navigation menu for clients. Having only one page there can look odd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding pages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To create a new page, click <strong>Add a Page<\/strong> on the left-hand side of the request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_zceauOE5D2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1630\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create a page in 3 ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Blank<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From template<\/strong>: Use a pre-made page template (note: page templates are separate to request templates)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From question list<\/strong>: Paste in a list of questions to automatically create individual fields from each question. You\u2019ll see a pop-up box where you can add as many questions as you need:&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/pasted-image-0.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1631\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Page editing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Edit a page by clicking the dotted area next to the page name:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_O79OFXNWZo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1633\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This gives you several options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Duplicate<\/strong>: Duplicate the page including all sections and fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rename<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add blank section<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add section from template<\/strong>: Choose an existing section template to add to the request&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create page template<\/strong>: Save the page as a template to use it in other requests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delete<\/strong>: Remove the entire page from your request. Note: this is irreversible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also add page <a href=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/knowledge-base\/create-amazing-requests\/#2-guide-clients-with-instructions\">instructions<\/a> (in several different formats \u2014 text, video, etc.) to help your client answer the questions accurately. This works for fields, sections, and entire pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do this using the dotted area on the left-hand side of the page, section, or field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_cFBv0awcVr.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1647\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click and hold, then drag the component to where you want it to go.
