For example, you can create dedicated folders for different years, client groups, specific projects, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case you haven\u2019t created any folders on your own, Content Snare will store all of your requests in the <strong>Default<\/strong> folder. To see all folders, click the avatar in the upper-right corner of the dashboard and go to <strong>Manage Folders<\/strong>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_PMUiQyxi1C-1024x297.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1772\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This opens a page with all active folders in your Content Snare account. From there, you can manage each folder by clicking the dotted area next to its name:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_JuQNy6tOzi-1024x188.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1773\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Available options include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Renaming a folder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating a new request that will be stored in that folder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Archiving a folder if you are not using it anymore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deleting a folder (this can\u2019t be undone)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to create a new one, click <strong>Add a folder<\/strong> at the bottom of the folder list. This opens a pop-up window asking you to name that folder, so just do it and click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Note<\/strong>: Content Snare has one-level folders only, so you cannot create folders within folders.&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also see inactive folders by clicking <strong>Archived<\/strong> in the upper-left corner:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_1fZL1vayDq.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1774\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also group the dashboard based on the folders they are stored in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choosing a folder before sending a request<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose a folder for each request as soon as you start building it. You will see the option called <strong>Select a folder to organize your request<\/strong> on the Essentials step, so pick the one that you see fit from the drop-down menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_OHVQtFpJx1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1775\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moving requests between folders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Should you wish to move a request from one folder to another, click the dotted area next to its name and choose <strong>Edit<\/strong>. This opens the <strong>Request Builder<\/strong> from where you can assign a different folder to that request.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To do that, click the current folder name (right under the request name) and pick another folder from the drop-down menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_pBqpTt1oxm-1024x285.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1776\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can quickly change the basic request details through <strong>Quick Settings<\/strong>.
