They help clients provide accurate answers the first time, which reduces turnaround time and eliminates the back-and-forth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Request instructions explain the overall purpose of your request, but there are also individual instructions for pages, sections, and fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_0aKyEIxh7w-1024x704.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1825\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These enable you to explain exactly what you need from your clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Writing effective instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You should keep instructions as simple as possible. To help you achieve this, we prepared a full list of <a href=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/knowledge-base\/create-amazing-requests\/#general-guidelines\">general guidelines<\/a> on how to write effective instructions for your clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Pro tip<\/strong>: If you cannot explain your question in a simple way, you should probably rephrase the question because it\u2019s too complicated.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attaching files for clients to download<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructions don\u2019t have to be text-based exclusively. You can also attach files for your clients to download: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_N76m0fAst1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1826\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few more options in the same tab:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add a link<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload an image<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insert a YouTube, Vimeo, or Loom video<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add an emoji<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insert a GIF<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All these options allow you to build a guided workflow that helps ensure clients answer correctly the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hide or show instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Content Snare displays the instruction box for requests and fields by default, but you have to enable it for pages &amp; sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should you wish to hide or show instructions for any given page, section, or field, do it using the <strong>Settings<\/strong> icon on the right. Click this icon to reveal the <strong>Instructions<\/strong> toggle bar on the right-hand side of the dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From there, you can hide or show instructions for any page, section, or field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.contentsnare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/chrome_oOSZ4Zk7ko-1024x449.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1827\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disabling request instructions by default<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also possible to disable request instructions by default, though we generally do not recommend this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the avatar in the upper-right corner and choose <strong>Settings<\/strong> from the drop-down menu.
