Each of these areas are configured to accept a whitelist of allowable file types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This article describes the allowable file types for each upload area and describes why the whitelist restrictions are in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"wysiwyg-editor\">WYSIWYG Editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"images\">Images<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Images are uploaded using the toolbar \u201cinsert picture\u201d icon and are displayed inline within the editor. Therefore, the acceptable file types are limited to images that can be&nbsp;<em>natively<\/em>&nbsp;displayed by current web browsers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>File types are limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>JPEG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JPG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PNG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TIFF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WEBP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"attachments\">Attachments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Attachments are uploaded using the \u201cadd attachment\u201d icon and are displayed as downloadable attachments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As attachments are downloaded, the allowable file types are extensive. However, we do not allow all file types as we do not bad actors uploading malware for unsuspecting end users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, attachments are limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>JPEG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JPG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PNG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TIFF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WEBP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SVG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PDF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EPS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PSD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DOC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DOCX<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>XLS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>XLSX<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PPX<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RTF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TXT<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CSV<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"requests\">Requests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"image-selection\">Image Selection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Images uploaded to the image selection field within the builder must be&nbsp;<em>natively<\/em>&nbsp;displayable by all modern browsers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>File types are therefore limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;JPEG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JPG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PNG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TIFF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WEBP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"image-upload\">Image Upload<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>End users can upload files to image fields within the request viewer. Images are restricted to ensure image fields accept only image file types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>File types are restricted to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>JPEG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JPG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PNG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TIFF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WEBP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SVG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PDF,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EPS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"file-upload\">File Upload<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>End users can upload files to file fields within the request viewer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>File uploads are unrestricted and accept any file type.
