The API allows you to integrate Content Snare into your existing apps and workflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Content Snare API uses OAuth 2.0<\/strong> for authentication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s how to create an application and get started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to your avatar and select Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Under Integrations<\/strong>, select API<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the button to Create a New Application<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You\u2019ll see the following screen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Enter the Name<\/strong>, Description <\/strong>and Redirect URL<\/strong> for where you will handle the OAuth redirect in your app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Important:<\/strong> For increased security, select the smallest subset of scopes that your application needs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
