Stripe\u2019s Identity service does not support verifying individuals who are considered minors, specifically under the age of 16.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why does it happen?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn\u2019t a technical limitation on our end. It\u2019s primarily due to legal and regulatory requirements around collecting and processing personal data from minors. Proof of Identity is one of many features designed to help streamline document gathering and basic identity checks. The system integrates Stripe\u2019s verification technology to provide a compliant and lightweight ID verification solution within the scope of what Stripe supports.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What if you\u2019ve already purchased credits?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019ve purchased additional ID verification credits for a minor client who is unable to complete POI due to age restrictions, please contact our support team.
