clients can now access the client portal via a magic link instead of needing to remember a password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clients click a link in their email, verify their email, and they’re in. No password required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once logged in, they can see their client portal as well as a list of their requests. When you send a file to a client, they will automatically receive a magic link. This is useful for clients who only log in a few times a year and inevitably forget their credentials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Less friction for them, fewer “I can’t log in” support messages for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong>: Magic links are enabled by default.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

How to change the magic links settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Should you wish to disable this feature, click your avatar in the top right corner and go to Settings<\/strong> \u2192 Security & Access<\/strong> \u2192 Enable Magic Links<\/strong>. Click the toggle bar to change the settings and click Save<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can repeat this same process to reactivate magic links. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Link expiration and verification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For security, magic links expire after a short time (6 hours). If the link has expired, the client can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Enter their email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Receive a verification code<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter the code to regain access<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    They can also choose to sign in from the same screen if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
