Web Business Weekly #104

I’ve been asking a lot of questions around what people do and don’t like about different automation tools.
One thing that comes up a lot is price.
This isn’t limited to automation. Price is a big motivator for people to seek a different option. Cheaper options.
There are at least 3 tools in our business for which I’d rather not spend as much as we do. But we continue to pay a higher amount than I’m not happy with, for a very good reason:
It would cost a lot more to switch than to stay.
To switch from a $90/month tool to a $30/month tool might sound like a significant saving, but that could take over 3 years to break even. By that time, that saving will probably be meaningless.
