- Going for a quick walk or just getting outside
- Basic meditation
- Making a tea or drink and sitting and chilling for a bit
- Any kind of quick hobby (for me I might play along a song or two on drums)

Whoa it has been hard for me to get back into work this year. From what I’m reading in communities and online, it looks like I’m far from being the only one.
So far I’ve been dealing with it by taking more regular breaks and getting to the gym in the middle of the day to break things up. Those gym sessions have been working wonders on my mood.
This and daily theming have helped me stay on track so far – so they could be worth a shot for you too.
It doesn’t have to be gym – there are lots of ways you can break up your day.
