Web Business Weekly #65

I’m back!
Over the last couple of weeks I took an actual break. I went away with intentions to keep creating this newsletter, but in the end I decided the more time off a computer the better.
We all need real breaks from time to time.
It also fits what I want to talk about today.
A couple of days before I came home, I listened to this podcast about Digital Minimalism. Dan Andrews and Cal Newport talk about cutting out the parts of your digital life that don’t contribute in some way.
The most obvious part is social media.
While I’ve known I’m pretty bad at this for a while, this chat REALLY hit home. If you’re in the same boat, and have an inkling that you should be spending less time on socials, give it a listen.
I’m coming up with an action plan on how I’m going to work this into my life – I don’t plan on leaving social media but there will be big cuts.
Watch out for next week’s newsletter where I’ll break down how you can simplify this part of your life without cutting it off completely.
