You get a personal referral link. When a friend signs up through it and starts a paid plan, they get account credit to welcome them, and with one option you get credit too.
Your two options
You get two links to choose from. Pick whichever suits you:

How to get your link
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the app.
- Choose Refer a friend from the menu.
- Copy either link and share it however you like. Email, a message, socials, wherever.
Your friend just needs to click the link and sign up. There’s nothing for them to enter. The link does the work.
How the credit works
- Credit is applied to your friend’s Content Snare account automatically when they sign up through your link.
- It comes off their bill until it’s used up. So if they’re on a $42/month plan, a $50 credit covers their first month and the rest carries over.
- It’s applied in their account’s own currency.
- No coupon codes and no card gymnastics. It’s just account credit.
When do you get your reward? (Gift $50, get $50)
Your $50 lands as credit on your own account once your referred friend goes paid. That means when they move from their free trial to a paying subscription.
A few things worth knowing:
- You need to be on an active paid plan yourself when your friend goes paid. If your own subscription has lapsed or been cancelled by then, the reward won’t apply.
- It’s account credit, not cash. It comes off your own Content Snare bill.
- It only applies to the Gift $50, get $50 option. The Gift $100 option is a pure gift, so there’s no reward for you on that one.
- If your friend’s welcome credit fully covers their first bill, your reward lands on their next real payment instead. So there can be a short wait, and that’s normal.
Common questions
Can I refer more than one person?
Yes. Refer as many friends as you like. Each one who goes paid on the “Gift $50, get $50” option earns you another $50 credit.
Does my friend need a credit card to claim the gift?
No. They start a free 14-day trial, no card required, and the credit is waiting on their account for when they subscribe.
Which option should I pick?
If you just want to give a friend the best possible start, go with Gift $100. If you’d like a reward for yourself too, use Gift $50, get $50.
Where can I see how my referrals are going?
Your Refer a friend screen shows how many friends have signed up, how many have gone paid, and how much credit you’ve earned.
Is the reward paid in cash?
No. It’s credit against your Content Snare subscription.
Please note: Referral credit isn’t redeemable for cash and can’t be withdrawn or transferred. It only reduces what you owe on Content Snare. We want the program to reward genuine referrals, so if we detect abuse of the system (for example fake sign-ups or self-referrals) we can withhold credit and change or end the program at any time.
