Content Snare now standardizes phone number formats to significantly reduce duplicate contacts in Xero Practice Manager (XPM). Previously, phone numbers could be treated as different values if they were formatted differently. For example:
- 0412 123 123
- +61 412 123 123
Even though these represent the same number, they could create duplicate contacts when syncing between Content Snare and XPM.
What’s changed
Content Snare now normalizes phone number formatting before sending data to XPM. This means that:
- Different formats of the same number are recognized as one
- Duplicate contacts caused by formatting differences are drastically reduced
- Your client data stays cleaner and more consistent across systems
